Khartoum, Jan. 27, 2026 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Shams-Eddin Kabashi, met today with Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris.During the meeting, the Prime Minister congratulated the TSC member and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces on the victories of the Armed Forces and allied forces in the combat fronts in South Kordofan and the Blue Nile region. Dr. Kamil Idris provided a briefing on the government performance and the progress of committees responsible for providing services in the capital, aimed at preparing the environment for the voluntary return of the state’s citizens.The Prime Minister pledged to intensify efforts to provide support and essential services to areas of South Kordofan affected by the war.BH/BH
