Gold Prices Decline After Reaching Three-Week HighSingapore, 24 Feb 2026 (ONA) — Gold prices declined today from their highest levels in over three weeks, pressured by stronger US dollar, which limited gains driven by uncertainty over US tariffs and tensions between Washington and Tehran. Spot gold fell 1.5% to $5,150.38 per ounce after earlier reaching its highest level in more than three weeks. US gold futures for April delivery dropped 1.1% to $5,170.70. Other precious metals also retreated: spot silver fell 3.1% to $85.50 per ounce, after hitting a more-than-two-week high in the previous session. Spot platinum declined 2.9% to $2,092.31 per ounce, while palladium dropped 2.1% to $1,706.50 per ounce.— Ends/Khalid
