Doha, March 02 (QNA) – The Qatar Stock Exchange index opened trading on Monday down 4.04 percent, losing 447.07 points to reach 10,608 points, compared to the previous session’s close under pressure across all sectors.
QSE figures showed negative performance in several sectors: Insurance fell 1.46 percent, Telecommunications 2.35 percent, Consumer Goods and Services 2.46 percent, Industrials 3.55 percent, Real Estate 3.61 percent, Banks and Financial Services 4.10 percent, and Transportation 5.36 percent.
At 10:00 a.m., QSE recorded a trading value of QR 168.152 million, distributed over 65.660 million shares, executed across 10,680 deals. (QNA)
