New York, April 15 (Petra) – The Nasdaq Composite, heavily weighted toward technology stocks, rose by 367 points on Tuesday to close at 24,016, a gain of 1.59%.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 72 points to 48,463, while the S&P 500 added around 55 points to reach 7,023.
Meanwhile, U.S. crude oil prices held steady, with West Texas Intermediate settling at $90.94 per barrel.
