Israeli Forces Arrest 22 Palestinians, Detain Dozens During Hebron RaidsGaza, 8 Oct 2026 (ONA) — Israeli occupation forces arrested 22 Palestinians today, and detained dozens of others during raids across several areas of the Hebron Governorate in the southern West Bank. The Palestinian WAFA news agency, citing security sources, reported that occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in Hebron city, as well as areas west and south of the city, raiding and searching Palestinian homes and ransacking their contents. The forces also stormed the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, and raided and searched several homes. Dozens of people were detained for extended periods and subjected to abuse and field interrogations before eventually being released. The Hebron Governorate has seen escalating raids and attacks by Israeli forces and settlers, amid tightened military restrictions across the area. — Ends/AH
