Amman, Apr. 17 (Petra)– The Jerusalem Governorate said in a statement that tens of thousands of worshipers had been arriving at Al-Aqsa Mosque since the early morning hours, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
Israeli occupation forces prevented the mosque’s Imam and preacher, Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, from entering the compound as he attempted to perform Friday prayer. They also obstructed the access of worshipers, particularly in the vicinity of the Yusufiya Cemetery.
