Amman, May 20 (Petra) – The Orange Digital Center, in cooperation
with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), held a
series of sessions on the “Connecting the Private Sector and
Supporting Startups” program, part of the “Entrepreneurship for
Sustainable Economic Development and Employment” project.
The sessions, held in the governorates of Amman, Irbid, and Aqaba,
addressed key themes on improving cooperation and communication
mechanisms with startups, identifying promising partnership areas,
and highlighting the role of the private sector in supporting these
initiatives aimed at strengthening the connection between
entrepreneurs and the private sector, Orange Jordan said in a
statement on Wednesday.
It reiterated a commitment to making a positive impact on society
through supporting entrepreneurs and opening new horizons for
expansion and sustainable growth.
The company’s “BIG by Orange” program has contributed over the past
11 years to boosting the entrepreneurial landscape in Jordan through
providing comprehensive support to entrepreneurs, including training,
networking, and guidance on attracting investments, among other
areas.
