Amman, May 22 (Petra)– The Southern Military Zone on Friday morning
foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics using two
drones along its western front within its area of responsibility.
In coordination with the military security agencies and the
Anti-Narcotics Department, the rules of engagement were applied after
the drones were detected by Border Guard forces. The two drones were
shot down inside Jordanian territory, and the seized materials were
handed over to the competent authorities.
