Amman, May 24 (Petra) –Deputizing for Public Security Directorate
(PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Obeidallah Maaytah, Director of the Criminal
Investigation Department Brig. Gen. Haidar Shboul honored citizen
Mohammad Hassan “Mohammad Fareed,” in recognition of his honesty and
high sense of responsibility.
The citizen found a bag containing gold items and immediately handed
it over to security authorities.
In a statement, the PSD said the recognition came in appreciation of
the noble act, which reflects the authentic values upheld by the
Jordanian society and embodies the principles of honesty, and
national responsibility, while reinforcing genuine partnership
between citizens and the directorate in protecting rights and
property.
Shboul said the citizen’s actions represent an honorable example of
integrity and social awareness and reflect the civilized image of
Jordanian society and its deeply rooted values.
He praised the initiative to hand over the bag and its contents
immediately, which helped return valuables to their owners in
accordance with legal procedures.
For his part, the citizen expressed appreciation for the PSD’s
gesture, voicing pride in the recognition. He said his deed was a
national and moral duty rooted in Jordanian society’s values.
