Amman, May 30 (Petra) – Mild weather conditions will prevail across
most areas of the Kingdom Saturday, while moderate temperatures are
expected throughout the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Low-altitude clouds will appear over the northern and central sectors
of the Kingdom, accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds that will
freshen at intervals, particularly in the desert regions.

A slight rise in mercury is expected on Sunday, bringing temperatures
close to their seasonal averages. Conditions will turn moderate
across most districts, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and
Aqaba will experience relatively hot weather. High-altitude cloud
cover will visible across the skies, alongside moderate northwesterly
winds that may pick up at times.

This stable atmospheric trend will persist through Monday and
Tuesday, keeping the highlands and plains moderate. Conversely, the
Badia desert regions, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will
experience relatively hot to hot conditions under scattered
high-altitude clouds, with moderate, periodically active
northwesterly winds.

Today’s temperature ranges place East Amman between 26 and 17 degrees
Celsius, and West Amman between 24 and 15 degrees Celsius. In the
uplands, the northern highlands will record a high of 22 and a low of
12 degrees Celsius, while the Sharrah Mountains will see 24 and 13
degrees Celsius.

The Badia desert plains will experience temperatures between 31 and
16 degrees Celsius, while the open plains will range between 27 and
16 degrees Celsius. For the low-lying rifts and southern coast, the
Northern Jordan Valley will range from 34 to 20 degrees Celsius, the
Southern Jordan Valley will see 36 and 22 degrees Celsius, the Dead
Sea will record 35 and 21 degrees Celsius, and the Gulf of Aqaba will
peak at 37 degrees Celsius before cooling to 22 degrees Celsius
overnight.
