Amman, June 24 (QNA) – Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met in Amman on Wednesday with Acting Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Christian Saunders.
The conversation focused on backing UNRWA’s efforts to continue providing its critical services to Palestinian refugees in its five areas of operation.
Safadi emphasized the agency’s critical role and the importance of furnishing it with the essential support to be able to persistently perform its functions based on the UN mandate.
He reiterated UNRWA’s indispensable role when it comes to providing fundamental services to Palestinian refugees. (QNA)
