Cairo, June 28 (QNA) – Egypt strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait and Bahrain with missiles and drones, describing them as a flagrant violation of the two countries’ sovereignty, a threat to their security and stability, and an unacceptable escalation that undermines efforts to consolidate calm and reduce tensions in the region.
In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain and its complete support for all measures the two countries take to safeguard their security and stability.
The ministry also stressed the importance of remaining committed to the ongoing negotiating process and supporting serious efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region. It called for resolving disputes through dialogue and peaceful means in a way that contributes to strengthening regional security and stability. (QNA)
