Kuwait, June 28 (QNA) – Boursa Kuwait closed higher on Sunday, with its All Share Index gaining 6.42 points, or 0.07%, to settle at 8,693.82 points.
A total of 237.9 million shares changed hands in 16,988 cash transactions worth KWD 62 million (approximately $201.7 million).
The Main Market Index rose 91.37 points, or 1.05%, to close at 8,834.29 points, with 142.6 million shares traded in 9,420 transactions worth KWD 24.2 million ($78.7 million).
The Premier Market Index fell 11.30 points, or 0.12%, to 9,115.14 points, with 95.2 million shares traded in 7,568 transactions worth KWD 37.7 million ($120.3 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index advanced 97.22 points, or 1%, to close at 9,772.06 points, with 119.1 million shares traded in 6,766 transactions worth KWD 19.9 million ($64.7 million). (QNA)
