Jordanian Food Companies Showcase Export Potential at New York Fancy Food Show

Amman, June 29 (Petra) — Twenty-three Jordanian food manufacturers
are showcasing their products at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New
York, as part of efforts to expand the Kingdom’s food exports and
strengthen the presence of Jordanian products in the U.S. market.

According to a statement issued by the Jordan Exporters Association
on Monday, the Jordanian pavilion has attracted strong interest from
visitors, importers and food industry professionals, with
participating companies drawing attention for the quality and
competitiveness of their products.

The association said the exhibition is the largest specialty food
trade event in North America, bringing together thousands of buyers
and importers from around the world. Jordan is participating for the
17th time with a national pavilion.

Chairman of the association Ahmad Al Khudari said the exhibition
provides an important platform for promoting Jordanian food products
in the U.S., one of the world’s largest and most competitive consumer
markets.

He noted that participating companies are displaying a broad range of
products that comply with international quality standards, reflecting
the continued development of Jordan’s food manufacturing sector.

Al Khudari said the Jordan-U.S. Free Trade Agreement provides
promising opportunities for Jordanian exporters, stressing the
importance of strengthening engagement with importers and
distributors and establishing long-term commercial partnerships to
support export growth.

Director General Halim Abu Rahmeh said participating companies had
attracted significant interest from importers, retail chains and
wholesale buyers seeking high-quality and reliable food products.

He added that business meetings held during the exhibition reflected
growing interest in Jordanian products, particularly dates, processed
agricultural products, confectionery, spices and healthy food
products.

Abu Rahmeh affirmed that the association will continue supporting
Jordanian companies in expanding into international markets,
diversifying export destinations and increasing the contribution of
exports to economic growth and job creation.
