Riyadh, June 29 (QNA) – Saudi Arabia has condemned Israeli military incursions into Syrian territory and the shelling of the southern governorates of Quneitra and Daraa, describing the actions as continued violations of international law and regional stability.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Saudi Foreign Ministry denounced Israel’s ongoing violations in the region, including the latest incursions and artillery attacks inside Syria.
The ministry said the kingdom categorically rejected Israeli forces’ intimidation of civilians and breaches of international laws and norms.
It called for an end to Israeli violations of Syrian sovereignty and urged compliance with the 1974 Disengagement Agreement in order to preserve security and stability in the region.
Saudi Arabia also reiterated its support for Syria’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity. (QNA)
