Amman, July 2 (Petra) — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM)
announced plans to operate a new four-phase traffic light system on
Friday at the intersection formerly known as the Applied Science
Private University roundabout in the Shafa Badran district.
The municipality stated that the new measure is part of its strategic
plan to improve traffic flow, alleviate congestion, and enhance
public safety at the busy intersection, which frequently experiences
heavy traffic jams.
