Cairo, July 3 (Petra)– The Arab Parliament strongly condemned the
terrorist attack that targeted a café near the Justice Palace in the
Syrian capital, Damascus, leaving a number of people dead and
injured.
In a statement issued on Friday, the parliament extended its deepest
condolences and sincere sympathy to the Syrian Arab Republic and the
families of the victims, while wishing a speedy recovery to those
injured.
The Arab Parliament reaffirmed its full solidarity with Syria in the
wake of the attack, reiterating its firm rejection of all terrorist
acts aimed at undermining security and stability and terrorizing
innocent civilians.
It also stressed that terrorism remains a global scourge requiring
coordinated Arab, regional and international efforts to eliminate its
sources of financing and support, in order to strengthen security and
stability at all levels.
