Death Toll from Damascus terrorist Bombing Rises to 10, 21 Injured

Amman, July 3 (Petra) – Syria’s Ministry of Health announced on
Friday that the death toll from the terrorist bombing that targeted a
café near the Palace of Justice in Damascus on Thursday has risen to
10, with 21 others injured.

The Syrian Ministry of Interior said on Thursday that preliminary
investigations indicated the explosion was caused by a homemade
explosive device weighing approximately one kilogram and packed with
metal shrapnel, resulting in severe casualties and extensive damage
to the site, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The ministry added that investigations are ongoing and that any new
developments or confirmed findings will be announced through its
official communication channels once they have been verified.
