Jordan Promotes Exports at Algiers International Fair

Amman, July 6 (Petra) — The Jordan Exports company organized
Jordan’s participation in the 57th Algiers International Fair by
managing the national pavilion, which featured eight Jordanian
companies representing a range of industrial and service sectors
during the June 22-27 exhibition.

According to a company statement issued Monday, the Jordanian
pavilion included companies specializing in raw materials, chemical
industries, and plastics manufacturing, as well as representatives
from the hospital and medical tourism sectors, as part of efforts to
strengthen the presence of Jordanian products and services in
regional markets and explore new export opportunities.

The Fair was inaugurated by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune
in the presence of Jordan’s Ambassador to Algeria, Ahed Sweidat,
along with senior officials, diplomats, and representatives of the
public and private sectors.

Jordan Exports said the participation forms part of its efforts to
support Jordanian businesses in expanding into overseas markets and
boosting export opportunities for industrial and service sectors,
contributing to higher Jordanian exports and greater market
diversification, particularly in traditional and emerging markets.

The company added that the participation aligns with the Economic
Modernization Vision and the National Export Strategy, which seek to
enhance the competitiveness of Jordanian exports, open new markets,
expand the country’s exporter base, and strengthen the national
economy through broader international market access.
