Amman, July 7 (Petra) — Real estate trading totaled JD3.042 billion
during the first half of 2026, while revenues collected by the
Department of Land and Survey increased by 5 percent, according to
the department’s monthly report released on Tuesday.
The report showed that the department’s revenues reached
approximately JD129 million during the first six months of the year.
Real estate sales activity continued to strengthen in June, recording
a 12 percent increase compared with the same month of 2025 and a 13
percent rise compared with May.
The department’s revenues for June climbed 39 percent year-on-year to
JD24 million.
The report also indicated that apartment sales increased by 12
percent in June compared with the corresponding month last year,
while land sales posted the same annual growth rate of 12 percent.
According to the report, the number of properties sold to companies
across the Kingdom reached 4,633 during the first half of the year.
