Doha, July 08 (QNA) – The Qatar Economic Forum, Powered by Bloomberg, held in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, will convene a special leadership gathering alongside the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), in New York on Sep. 20, 2026.
The gathering, titled QEF: UNGA Special Edition 2026, will bring together global leaders, policymakers, investors and business executives at a pivotal moment for geopolitics and the global economy.
Centered on the theme “Growth on New Terms: Capital, Risk and Resilience”, the event will examine how governments, businesses and investors are navigating an increasingly fragmented global landscape.
Convened during one of the most influential weeks on the international calendar, the event will provide a platform for high-level dialogue on the issues shaping global markets, investment flows and the international business landscape.
Building on QEF’s established track record of convening leaders from government, business and finance, the gathering will feature news-making interviews, keynote conversations and discussions with some of the world’s most influential decision-makers.
Editorial programming will be anchored around the following areas: “Middle East geopolitical shifts and their impact on the global economy”; “Energy supply and demand outlook”; “Rewired global trade flows: What is the new normal?”; “The global capital rebalance: Where to invest right now”; “AI: Digital promise and physical reality.”
