Amman, July 12 (Petra) – His Majesty King Abdullah II extended his
deepest condolences and sympathies to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin
Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, and to the brotherly
Qatari people, following the passing of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin
Khalifa Al Thani.
In a post on the “X” platform, His Majesty stated: “My deepest
condolences and most sincere sympathies to my brother, His Highness
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the brotherly Qatari people on
the passing of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. We
pray to the Almighty to bestow His vast mercy and blessings upon him,
and to safeguard the State of Qatar and its people. To God we belong
and to Him we shall return.”
