Amman, July 12 (Petra) – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj.
Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Sunday received Adjutant General of Colorado
Maj. Gen. Robert Davis and an accompanying delegation.
Talks covered expanding cooperation in training, qualification,
expertise exchange, and capacity building to improve efficiency,
readiness, and operational capabilities and address current security
challenges.
Talking at the meeting held at the General Command headquarters of
Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), Huneiti affirmed the Jordanian army’s
keenness to strengthen cooperation and partnership with the Colorado
National Guard and benefit from shared expertise in support of
security, stability, and issues of mutual concern.
Davis, in turn, praised the JAF’s “advanced” level and their “high
efficiency” and professionalism in military training and
qualification.
He called for continuing joint cooperation and expertise exchange to
enhance bilateral ties and serve the shared interests of the two
countries.
Several senior JAF officers and the U.S. defense attaché in Amman
attended the meeting.
