Amman, July 12 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) index closed
0.2 percent higher on Sunday at 3,891 points.
Total turnover reached JD8.1 million, with 3.1 million shares
changing hands in 3,102 transactions.
The services sector index rose 1.06 percent, while the industrial
index slipped 0.19 percent and the financial sector index fell 0.09
percent.
Of the 95 listed companies traded, 22 advanced, while 34 declined
compared with their previous closing prices.
