Amman, July 12 (Petra) – A 19-year-old Arab national drowned on
Sunday in the King Abdullah Canal in the Northern Shunah region of
Irbid, according to the Public Security Directorate (PSD).
Specialized Civil Defense dive teams rushed to the scene and launched
a search in the canal.
After recovering the body, divers transported the victim to Muath Ben
Jabal Hospital.
The statement said competent authorities launched an investigation
into the circumstances behind the drowning incident.
