Amman, July 14 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general
price index rose 1.02 percent to close at 3,912 points on Tuesday, as
total trading volume reached JD14.6 million.
Investors traded 5 million shares through 4,481 contracts.
The services sector index climbed 1.82 percent, the financial sector
rose 0.77 percent, and the industrial sector gained 0.37 percent.
Of the 95 companies traded, 48 posted gains and 13 posted losses in
their closing prices compared with the previous session.
