Kuwait City, July 14 (QNA) – The Kuwaiti Cabinet has vigorously denounced the Iranian attacks on the State of Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Jordan.
During a meeting Tuesday chaired by HH Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Cabinet said these repeated assaults amount to a recurrent and egregious escalation and a breach of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of those nations.
It stressed that these actions gravely run afoul of the international rules-based order, the UN Charter and UN Security Council Resolution 2817, reemphasizing that the State of Kuwait thoroughly backs these countries in all measures they take to safeguard their security, stability and sovereignty.
In addition, the Cabinet asserted that the continuation of these actions imperils the security and stability of the region and reiterated its call for Iran to cease them immediately, respect the sovereignty of those nations and resolve disputes through peaceful means. (QNA)
