Amman, July 19 (Petra) — The Bridges Security Administration
announced Sunday a temporary adjustment to the official operating
hours of the King Hussein Bridge, effective for next Thursday only.
According to the administration, the bridge will operate on a
modified schedule based on traveler categories. For Arab travelers,
diplomats, tourist groups, and private vehicles, the hours will be
from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. For VIP pass holders, the crossing will be
open from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM noon. Additionally, the commercial
crossing will be completely closed for the day.
Regular operational hours will resume as normal on Friday morning.
The Administration urges all travelers departing toward the West Bank
to present their pre-booked reservations at the bridge entrance and
to ensure they arrive at the crossing at least one hour prior to
their scheduled departure time.
