Jordan Islamic Bank Wins Euromoney Islamic Banking Award

Amman, July 20 (Petra) — The Jordan Islamic Bank was named Best
Islamic Bank in Jordan for 2026 by Euromoney magazine, marking the
fourth consecutive year the lender has received the distinction.

The award was presented as part of Euromoney’s 2026 Islamic Finance
Awards, which recognize Islamic financial institutions that
demonstrate excellence, innovation and leadership in the sector. The
awards are widely regarded as among the industry’s most prestigious
honors.

Jordan Islamic Bank CEO and General Manager Hussein Said said the
recognition for a fourth consecutive year reflects the bank’s
commitment to the highest standards of excellence, quality and
innovation.

He attributed the achievement to the collective efforts of the bank’s
board of directors, executive management and employees, as well as
the confidence of its customers and partners, whom he said have
played a key role in the bank’s continued success.

Said noted that the award places greater responsibility on the bank
to continue enhancing its services and products, strengthen its
competitiveness, and reinforce its position as a leading Islamic
financial institution.
