Amman, July 20 (Petra) – Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD12 million on Monday, with 3.7 million shares traded
through 4,205 transactions.
The ASE general price index closed at 3,906 points, up 0.22 percent.
The services sector index rose 0.56 percent, while the financial
sector gained 0.19 percent. The industrial sector index declined 0.30
percent.
Of the 96 companies traded, 31 recorded share price gains, while 26
declined compared with their previous closing prices.
