Moscow, July 20 (Petra) — Russian natural gas supplies to Turkiye
fell 4% in the first half of the year compared with the same period
last year, reflecting lower volumes delivered through the pipeline
network linking the two countries, Russia’s Energy Ministry said on
Monday.
In a statement, the ministry said Turkiye imported 1.27 billion cubic
meters of natural gas in May through the TurkStream and Blue Stream
pipelines.
Total gas imports through the two pipelines reached 9.6 billion cubic
meters between January and the end of May, the ministry said.
