Amman, July 21 (Petra) — United States Trade Representative (USTR)
Ambassador Jamieson Greer praised the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s
commitment to achieving fair, balanced, and reciprocal trade with the
United States, expressing his gratitude for this commitment,
particularly in light of shared threats facing the region.
Greer made the remarks following a meeting in Washington on Tuesday
with Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yarub Qudah to discuss
the reciprocal trade agreement between the two nations.
Ambassador Greer emphasized that President Donald Trump is working to
deepen economic and strategic partnerships in the Middle East and
reach agreements that open new horizons and opportunities for U.S.
exporters. He noted that these efforts secure substantial purchases
of American goods while removing obstacles facing American workers
and manufacturers.
