Farnborough, July 22 (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah II on
Wednesday visited Farnborough International Airshow 2026, in the
United Kingdom.
During a tour of the exhibition, which connects leaders and
innovators in the global aerospace, defence, and space industries,
His Majesty viewed pavilions showcasing the latest advancements in
the aviation and aerospace industries and technologies.
The tour included visits to the exhibits of international companies
specialising in the development of electric propulsion systems for
aircraft, drones and their systems, drone-based cargo services,
AI-powered aircraft systems, electric vertical take-off and landing
(eVTOL) technology, the development of urban air mobility
infrastructure, AI-powered drones, and the field of engineering
design.
More than 1,400 specialist companies from 41 countries are taking
part in the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, which is one of
the largest international exhibitions in the aviation and defence
sectors.
