Amman, July 22 (Petra) — The Jordan Library and Information
Association has launched a national campaign to secure sponsorship
and support from private sector institutions and donor agencies,
coinciding with the release of its strategic roadmap for 2026–2027.
The initiative aims to strengthen the association’s financial
sustainability and ensure the execution of its upcoming programs and
activities, according to a statement.
Association President Imad Abu Eid said the campaign aligns with the
first pillar of the strategic plan, which focuses on financial
sustainability. He noted that the drive seeks to expand partnerships
with national institutions and the private sector while activating
corporate social responsibility within the library and information
sector.
Abu Eid added that the association is relying on its general assembly
members to leverage their professional and personal networks to
connect with decision-makers, executive management, and marketing and
CSR departments at targeted organizations.
Additionally, the association has invited members to submit
recommendations for potential corporate, banking, and institutional
partners to be included in its direct outreach strategy, Abu Eid
said.
