Permanent book fair in Zarqa opens with nominal prices

Amman, July 22 (Petra) — The Zarqa Culture Directorate has invited
reading and culture enthusiasts to visit the permanent book fair at
the King Abdullah II Cultural Center, where a wide range of Ministry
of Culture publications is available for readers of all ages.

Director of the Zarqa Culture Directorate Mohammad Al-Zoub told the
Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the fair features publications
covering literature, culture, history, thought and development, in
addition to books for children.

He said the books are offered at nominal prices to encourage reading,
promote book ownership, support cultural activity and provide
visitors with access to a diverse range of knowledge resources.

Al-Zoubi said the fair is open daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout
the week. It also opens during evening hours to coincide with
cultural events, literary evenings and other activities hosted by the
center, allowing a larger number of visitors and readers to browse
the available publications.
