Amman, July 26 (Petra) – Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD10.5 million on Sunday, with 4.9 million shares traded
through 4,249 transactions.
The ASE General Index rose 0.18 percent to 3,939 points. The
industrial sector index declined 0.50 percent, while the financial
sector index gained 0.43 percent, and the services sector index edged
up 0.01 percent.
Of the 103 companies whose shares were traded, 54 recorded gains, and
26 posted declines compared with their previous closing prices.
