Amman, July 27 (Petra) — An official military source at the General
Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces–Arab Army said that the Royal
Jordanian Air Force aircraft intercepted and downed two drones that
breached Jordanian airspace from Iranian territory Monday morning.
The source confirmed that the interception operation resulted in no
casualties or material damage, adding that Royal Engineering Corps
teams handled the fallen debris across several locations in
accordance with established technical and security procedures.
The source added that the Jordanian Armed Forces–Arab Army continues
to monitor Jordanian airspace and maintains the highest levels of
operational readiness to respond to any threat targeting the
Kingdom’s security and the safety of its citizens.
