Israeli forces demolish 9 homes across occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem

Occupied Jerusalem, July 27 (Petra) – Israeli occupation forces on
Monday demolished nine homes and two structures in occupied East
Jerusalem, Ramallah and Jenin, while carrying out a separate arrest
campaign across the occupied West Bank.

According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli forces demolished a
home in the Al-Bustan neighbourhood of Silwan belonging to Mahmoud
Mohammad Atiya Qwaider, citing a lack of building permits.

In Jabal Al-Mukabber, authorities compelled the Rimawi family to
demolish their three homes, which housed about 10 people. Another
home and a sheep pen were demolished in Beit Hanina.

In the town of Ni’lin, west of Ramallah, Israeli forces demolished
three homes belonging to members of the Nafe’ family, as well as an
agricultural structure used for livestock owned by Munir Munawwar
Kahoush.

In the Araba Station area southwest of Jenin, troops demolished a
three-story home owned by Jihad Musa amid a heavy military deployment
and road closures.

Local reports said the area has recently witnessed an escalation in
demolitions, land leveling and the targeting of commercial and
agricultural facilities.

Separately, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said Israeli forces
arrested 33 Palestinians, including a woman, during raids across the
occupied West Bank. The arrests were concentrated in Nablus, Tulkarm
and Qalqilya.
