Amman, July 28 (Petra) – Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD19 million on Tuesday, with 9.4 million shares traded
through 5,493 transactions.
The ASE General Index rose 0.07 percent to 3,957 points. The
financial sector index gained 0.47 percent, while the industrial
sector index declined 0.86 percent, and the services sector index
fell 0.20 percent.
Of the 100 companies whose shares were traded, 45 recorded gains, and
26 posted declines compared with their previous closing prices.
