Moscow, August 1 (Petra) – Three people were killed and 15 others
injured in an explosion near a summer café in central Moscow on
Saturday, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
The ministry said the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment,
adding that emergency response teams remain on high alert.
In a statement, the ministry said investigative teams from the
Ministry of Internal Affairs, along with rescue and emergency
personnel, had begun examining the scene to determine the cause and
circumstances of the explosion.
Authorities have cordoned off the area while the investigation and
necessary forensic examinations continue.
