Ramallah, Aug. 8 (Petra) — Several Palestinians sustained various
injuries on Saturday following an attack by extremist settlers on the
town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

The Ambulance and Emergency Center of the Red Crescent in Nablus
reported that emergency crews treated several individuals who were
physically assaulted by settlers in Beit Furik.

According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Israeli
occupation forces and settlers committed 2,256 attacks against
Palestinians, their land, and properties in the West Bank during
July, with occupation forces carrying out 1,458 attacks and settlers
executing 798.

Meanwhile, armed extremist settlers attacked a Palestinian residence
east of Bethlehem, while others raided several areas across the city.
The commission stated that settlers targeted a home in the University
Housing area east of Bethlehem, completely shattering its windows.

In the central West Bank, Israeli military bulldozers continued
leveling land in the town of Singil, north of Ramallah, to expand a
recently established outpost. The Singil Municipal Council stated
that military bulldozers have been clearing land in the Gharabah area
for days to enlarge the outpost, which has served as a launchpad for
settler attacks, preventing local Palestinians from accessing their
lands.
