Amman, Sept. 1 (Petra) — The Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption
Commission (JIACC) recovered or prevented the waste of nearly JD79
million in public funds during 2025, Commission Chairman Hazem Majali
said Monday as he presented the agency’s annual report to Prime
Minister Jafar Hassan.

Hassan praised the Commission’s efforts to strengthen the national
integrity system and safeguard public funds, reaffirming the
government’s support for these efforts within the framework of the
rule of law.

He also reiterated the government’s support for implementing the
2026-2030 National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strategy, launched
by the Commission late last year.

During the meeting, Majali reviewed the main areas covered in the
annual report and the Commission’s efforts to strengthen integrity,
build confidence in national institutions, and provide an environment
conducive to investment.

Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Abdul Latif Najdawi and
members of the Commission’s board attended the meeting.
