Fuheis, Sept. 1 (Petra) – The 33rd edition of Fuheis Festival- Jordan
History & Civilization wrapped up its activities on Monday.

The 6-day program saw artistic, cultural, and heritage events that
attracted a “wide” audience from across the Kingdom’s governorates,
as well as official, media, and artistic figures.

In a statement Tuesday, the festival’s executive director, Ayman
Samawi, affirmed the success of this year’s edition, praising
interaction of the public, sponsors, and media with the various
activities.

He stated that the event will continue its presence under its
enduring slogan: “Jordan: History and Civilization,” aimed to
maintain its role in showcasing Jordanian culture, thought, and
heritage, and highlighting achievements of national figures.

During the activities, the festival featured a diverse program that
saw musical performances, seminars and cultural dialogues, heritage
and folklore events, and children’s programs.

Additionally, a number of Jordanian figures were honored,
commemorating their careers and contributions.

On the main stage, the evening events concluded with a concert
featuring singers Subhi Tawfiq and Firas Ta’imah, which drew a large
audience, who enthusiastically responded to the classical and folk
songs.

Meanwhile, the children’s program concluded with a traditional Dabke
dance performance by children from Zaha Cultural Center.
