Amman, September 1 (Petra) – The Northern Military Region thwarted an
infiltration attempt on Tuesday after border guards spotted an
individual attempting to illegally cross the border.
The border guards responded in accordance with established rules of
engagement, apprehending the individual and preventing him from
crossing the border.
The individual was handed over to the relevant authorities for legal
action.
Border guards continue to perform their duties with vigilance and
determination, confronting all infiltration and smuggling attempts
within their area of responsibility.
