Amman, Sept. 3 (Petra) — A five-year-old boy died on Thursday after
being left inside a private school bus in Zarqa, according to the
Public Security Directorate spokesperson.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the female driver, hired by
parents to transport students, accidentally locked the vehicle with
the child left inside for an extended period. The boy was pronounced
dead upon arrival at the hospital and has been referred to forensic
medicine to determine the exact cause of death.
Police arrested the driver and launched an investigation ahead of
referring her to prosecutors.
