Amman, Sep. 5 (Petra) – The value of certificates of origin issued by
the Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) for the export of goods and
commodities to Arab and foreign countries increased by 20.7% during
the first eight months of this year, compared to the same period last
year.

According to the ACC’s statistics , exports through ACC-issued
certificates of origin reached JD1.031 billion during the
January-August period, compared with JD854 million in 2025.

The data also shows a total of 30,154 ACC’s certificates of origin
were issued during this period, compared with 26,715 for the same
period last year, marking an increase of 12.9%.

During the same period, the report indicated the top five importers
by value were led by Iraq at JD415 million and 1,912 certificates
and followed by Switzerland at JD102 million and 26 certificates.

Exports to the United Arab Emirates were approximately worth JD78
million under 6,152 certificates, while the exporting value to Saudi
Arabia stood at JD72 million within 5,673 certificates, and finally
came Egypt at JD54 million under 732 certificates.

Exports during the same period included foreign products valued at
approximately JD493 million, while the agricultural and industrial
products stood at JD153 million and around JD119 million,
respectively.

The ACC figures showed value of Arab products stood at about JD118
million and the remaining exports comprised other products.
