Amman, Sept. 7 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
totaled JD13.6 million on Monday, with 4.2 million shares changing
hands through 4,324 transactions.
The general share price index rose 0.26 percent to close at 4,086
points.
The industrial sector index climbed 1.68 percent, the services sector
edged up 0.23 percent, while the financial sector eased 0.18 percent.
Of 105 companies, 32 posted gains, 36 posted losses and the rest were
flat from previous closes.
