Amman, Sept. 8 (Petra) — Total trading volume on the Amman Stock
Exchange (ASE) reached JD15.2 million Tuesday, with 5.6 million
shares changing hands through 4,990 transactions.
The general share price index closed up 0.47 percent at 4,105 points.
The services sector index rose 1.03 percent, industry gained 0.63
percent, and the financial sector edged up 0.16 percent.
Of the 101 companies traded, 38 posted gains in their share prices
compared with the previous session, while 23 recorded declines.
