Amman, Sept. 9 (Petra) — Kuwait on Wednesday strongly condemned the
Iranian attacks on Jordan, describing them as a flagrant violation of
Jordan’s sovereignty and a breach of international law, the UN
Charter and UN Security Council Resolution 2817.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement issued
Wednesday, stressed the need to halt the attacks and prioritize
de-escalation, dialogue and adherence to the rules of international
law to preserve regional security and stability and spare the
region’s peoples further tension and escalation.
The ministry affirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with Jordan and its
support for all measures Jordan takes to protect its sovereignty,
security and stability.
