Moscow, Sept. 10 (Petra) — Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency
(Rosaviatsia) announced temporary restrictions on flight operations
at Sochi International Airport and several regional airports in the
southern part of the country on Thursday due to security concerns.
In a press statement, the agency explained that the measures involve
regulating aircraft movements during the restriction period to ensure
the safety of flights and passengers, without specifying how long the
measures would remain in effect.
